Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and social worker. He is the president of the Samajwadi Party. He was born on 1 July 1973 in Saifai. He is the youngest chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. From 2012 to 2017, he served as the 20th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is currently a member of parliament for Kannauj. In his political career, he has held several Ministries and Departments: Home and Confidential Appointment and Personnel, Finance, Energy, Excise, Higher Education, Secondary Education, Housing, Sugar & Cane Development, Industrial Development, and General Administration.
